¹Tangerine Credit Cardholders with a Scene+ membership who link their Credit Card and their Scene+ account to a Shell Go+ Account can get up to 8 cents per litre in instant fuel discounts, Tangerine Money-Back Rewards, and Scene+ rewards value when they purchase fuel with their linked Tangerine Credit Card:

• Instant 3 cents per Litre Discount on Fuel Purchases (All Grades): Receive an instant 3 cents per litre discount on purchases of fuel (all grades) (“Fuel Purchases (All Grades)”) at participating Shell locations when you use any Tangerine Credit Card linked to a Shell Go+ Account, up to a maximum of 1,000 litres per month per Tangerine Credit Card Account. This total limit resets at the start of each new month per Credit Card Account. This discount is subject to the Tangerine Fuel Benefit Terms and Conditions.

• Earn up to 3 cents per Litre in Cash Back Rewards: When you use your Tangerine Credit Card on Fuel Purchases (All Grades), if you have Gas selected as one of your 2% Money-Back categories you will earn 2% cashback on all eligible Net Purchases made at merchants classified as “Service Stations” by the payment network (which are subject to change), excluding fuel purchases that are not for retail or for automobiles. Assumes an average fuel price of at least $1.50/L. Net Purchases means purchases of goods and services charged to your Credit Card Account, less all returns, merchant credits and adjustments. Balance Transfers, Cash Advances, Cash-Like Transactions, interest charges, fees, and insurance premiums posted to your Credit Card Account are not eligible to earn Money-Back Rewards. This benefit is subject to the Tangerine Money-Back Rewards Program Terms and Conditions.

• Scene+ Members earn up to 2 cents per Litre in Scene+ Rewards Value: Scene+ Members earn 1 Scene+ point for each litre in Fuel Purchases (All Grades) when they present or make available their Scene+ account number or Scene+ membership card at the time of purchase. Plus, Scene+ Members who link their Scene+ account to the Shell Go+ app will automatically earn 2 Scene+ points for each litre of V-Power^® gasoline or V-Power^® diesel purchased (“Premium Fuel Purchases”). Scene+ Rewards value is based on an average redemption value of $10 for every 1000 Scene+ points redeemed on fuel purchases. Actual value may be lower depending on how you choose to redeem your Scene+ points. Note: Highest value of 8 cents per litre assumes a Premium Fuel Purchase (minimum price of $1.50 per litre) made with a Tangerine Credit Card that has Gas selected as a 2% Money-Back Category and is linked to a Shell Go+ Account and who have a Scene+ account also linked to the Shell Go+ account. Actual value will be lower depending on whether or not the Credit Card is linked, selected 2% Money-Back Categories, fuel grade purchased, Scene+ membership status and how you choose to redeem your Scene+ points.

Changing and Selecting Your Accelerated Earn Rate Categories: You will choose either three (3) Accelerated Earn Rate Categories (as described in the above Additional Terms and Conditions for Tangerine Mastercard Credit Cardholders) for your Account. Visit tangerine.ca (“Manage Rewards”) for more details on how to select your Accelerated Earn Rate Categories and how to change them after such selection to review the history of changes to your Credit Card Account, log in at tangerine.ca and go to “Manage Rewards”.

The Accelerated Earn Rate purchases are those purchases identified further under the “Merchant Classifications” as set out in the Additional Terms and Conditions.

Regular Earn Rate: You are awarded one (1) Scene+ Point for every $1.00 in all other purchases of goods and services charged to the Account (the “Regular Earn Rate”).

Merchant Classifications: You will earn the Accelerated Earn Rates on purchases made on your account at merchants classified in the Mastercard credit card network with a Merchant Category Code (“MCC”) in the MCC categories listed below (the “Accelerated Rate Earn Rate Purchases”) as set out in more detail in the Additional Terms and Conditions relating to the various merchants and MCCs as outlined therein in addition to your Foreign Currency Spend category and Recurring Bill Payment category as more particularly also described in the Additional Terms and Conditions.

• MCCS are set by the Mastercard payment network associated with your Account and must be recognized by Tangerine’s system as set out in the Scene+ Program terms and conditions. MCC are subject to change.

Purchases at merchants where the Accelerated Earn Rate categories are not their primary business do not qualify. Some merchants may sell other products/services or are separate merchants who are located on the premises of these merchants, but are classified by the credit card network in another manner that may not be classified with an MCC under the Accelerated Earn Rate categories and such purchases will not earn the Accelerated Earn Rates on the Account as applicable.

Eligibility: Only purchases earn Scene+ Points. Cash advances (including Balance Transfers, and Cash-Like Transactions), fees, interest or other charges, returns, refunds or other similar credits to your Account do not qualify for Scene+ Points.

Scene+ Points will not be posted to an Account that is not in good standing when purchases are made or when a statement is issued, or if the Account is not open when a statement is issued.
