How do I pay my taxes online through my Chequing Account?

You can pay your taxes to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) directly from your Tangerine Chequing Account. Just set up the CRA as a payee and use your 9 digit Social Insurance Number as your account number. Keep in mind that your normal bill payment limits don’t apply to CRA payments.

Select ‘Move Money’

Step 2

Tap ‘Pay Bills’, then tap ‘Manage Payees’

Step 3

Find the applicable CRA listing

Step 4

Enter your 9 digit Social Insurance Number as your account number and follow the prompts.

Tip: Set up the CRA as a payee ahead of time so you’re ready when tax season arrives.
