How do I open a Tangerine GIC Account?

Here's how to open a new Tangerine Guaranteed Investment:

Tap 'Accounts'.

Scroll down to 'Explore Products' and tap 'GICs'.

Select the Guaranteed Investment from the list and follow the prompts.

We'll ask you to fund your GIC from either a linked account at another bank or from one of your other Tangerine Accounts.

If you’re already a Client, here’s how to open a GIC Account:

Scroll down to the ‘Open an Account’ button.

Under the ‘Savings’ tab, go to ‘Guaranteed Investment’ and hit ‘Add’.

Click ‘Continue’ and follow the steps from there.

We'll ask you to fund your GIC from either a linked account at another bank or from one of your other Tangerine Accounts.

If you’re not yet a Client, start by signing up to bank with us. Just hit ‘Become a Client’ near the top right corner.
