Chequing
Your subscription rebate will be paid as a cash bonus into the Chequing Account where your eligible payroll is deposited. It’ll appear under your ‘Transactions’ as ‘Bonus Payout’ when deposited, and we’ll send you an email to let you know. This applies to eligible subscription payments made using a Tangerine Client Card with Visa* Debit or Tangerine Credit Card. For more detail, go to ‘Bonuses & Contests’ under ‘Profile & Settings’.
You can be eligible for up to 6 months when you deposit your payroll by February 28, 2026. You'll get a rebate of your monthly eligible subscription payment (up to $30) as long as your payroll deposit and subscription payment continues until July 31, 2026.
If you have your first payroll deposit in April, you won’t be eligible for the subscription payment rebate.
As long as all the Offer conditions are met, your rebate will be deposited into your Chequing Account in the month after both your Qualifying Subscription Payment and eligible payroll direct deposit have been made.
You can pay with either:
• Your Tangerine Client Card with Visa Debit*, linked to the Chequing Account where your payroll is deposited and you’re the primary Account holder, or
• Your Tangerine Credit Card, where you’re the primary Account holder.
Note: Qualifying Subscription Payments must be made directly to Netflix or Spotify. Payments through third‑party services (like PayPal, Google Pay, or other digital wallets/platforms) won’t count.
You’ll only get one rebate per month, no matter how many Qualifying Subscription Payments or payroll deposits you make.
If you have more than one in the same month, your rebate will be based on the higher subscription amount — up to a maximum of $30 per month.
