Tangerine tops J.D. Power client satisfaction study for the 12th year in a row with its biggest win to date!

Twelve Years Proud: Tangerine Bank achieves the highest customer satisfaction score among midsize banks in the J.D. Power 2023 Canada Retail Banking Satisfaction Study.

TORONTO, ONTARIO, October 25, 2023 – For the 12th consecutive year, Tangerine Bank topped the J.D. Power 2023 Canada Retail Banking Satisfaction Study, securing the highest score amongst all midsize banks. The win for this year includes Tangerine coming out on top as the most trusted midsize bank and also means that Tangerine is the most awarded bank in client satisfaction among midsized retail banks.

This award celebrates the Bank’s unwavering commitment to simplifying banking, helping their clients bank how and when they want, and enabling Canadians to make the most of their hard-earned money.

Tangerine was the only bank in Canada to make year-over-year gains in all categories, widening their lead in overall customer satisfaction by a whopping 14 points!

Tangerine’s win is driven by year over year gains in all seven categories including:

  • Client trust
  • Helping Clients save time and money
  • Allowing Clients to bank how and when they want
  • Account offerings that meet Client needs
  • Digital channels—website, mobile app
