Tangerine Releases ‘Hard Work’ Song from Popular Commercial
Fans can now download extended song and ringtone with proceeds going to charity partners
TORONTO, ON – April 6, 2016
Tangerine has listened to Canadians who were asking for the ‘Left, Right, Left’ song they’ve been hearing on TV. The song, ‘Tangerine Hard Work (feat. Voyce)’ by RMWmusic, was originally only created for Tangerine’s new commercial. Now, a full length track and ringtone are available for Canadians to download on iTunes® and GooglePlay®.
All proceeds from the song downloads will be donated to Tangerine’s philanthropy program, #BrightWayForward, which works to make a positive difference in the lives of Canadians by supporting organizations across the country that focus on empowerment and acceptance. Tangerine will also be matching donations from the song’s proceeds up to $10,000 in support of this program.
“The sentiment of our new commercial really resonated with Canadians, and the music is the unifying element that ties all the scenes together,” says Brenda Rideout, Chief Strategy Officer at Tangerine. “After receiving an overwhelmingly positive response and being flooded with requests for the song, we decided to record an extended version and give Canadians what they were looking for – it’s very exciting.”
The Hard Work commercial was created by Tangerine’s advertising agency, john st., and was released on January 18, 2016. The full 60-second spot can be viewed on YouTubeTM.
