Why did my Cheque-In deposit get rejected?
Some of the most common reasons why a Cheque-In deposit might not be accepted are:
- The image of the front or back of the cheque is blurred.
- The amount you entered doesn’t match the amount on the cheque.
- The cheque deposit is a duplicate request.
It’s important to note that even if a cheque is processed through Cheque-In, it could still be returned after it’s deposited. This could happen if the person writing the cheque doesn’t have sufficient funds in their account, for example. If the cheque is rejected or returned, we may reverse the deposit in your Account (even if the reversal creates a negative balance).
