How is the minimum RIF Payment Amount calculated?
The minimum RIF Payment Amount is calculated based on your age (or your spouse's age, as applicable) and the balance in your RIF Plan at the beginning of each year. Simply multiply the appropriate factor mentioned in the table below by your RIF Plan balance (or fair market value) on January 1st of the year that the minimum RIF Payment Amount is calculated for.
