How do I make a Tangerine Mortgage Prepayment?

There are two ways to make a prepayment every Mortgage year - one is to increase your regular payment amount up to 25% of your regular payment at the start of your term and the other is to make a lump sum prepayment up to 25% of the principal amount at the start of your term. See your Mortgage Agreement for details and conditions.

To increase your regular payment amount:

1. Log in, if you aren't already logged in, and click your Mortgage Account
2. Then click ‘Request Change
3. Follow the prompts from there
   
   

To make a lump sum prepayment:

1. Log in, if you aren't already logged in, and click your Mortgage Account
2. Then click ‘Make Prepayment
3. Select either ‘Once’ for a one-time prepayment, or ‘Recurring’ to schedule ongoing prepayments (keep in mind, prepayments will only be made on a regular scheduled payment dates)
4. Follow the prompts from there
