While linking my external account I saw mention of Plaid. What is it?

How long does it take to link my account?

Once you’ve entered your personal banking information, your account will link instantly.

 

How will my banking information be used when I link my external bank account?

Once your account has been successfully linked, the login information you entered for your other bank account won't be stored or saved by us in any way.

 

While linking my external account, I was asked for my phone number, why?

In order to access your external account information, Plaid needs to use their 2-step authentication process. Your phone number will be needed to send you their security code. Your other bank may also need to use their 2-step authentication process.
